xinyangmaojian tea
xinyangmaojian tea is one of the China ten famous teas, renowned specialty of Henan. Xinyang maojian is always world-famous for its “thin, round, bright, straight, rich aroma, thick taste and green tea soup”. Xinyang maojian brand has taken the third place in public brand value of Chinese tea region. In 1915, it got gold award with Guizhou maotai in Panama world's fair. In 2007, it received the gold award in japan world green tea conference.
xinyangmaojian tea is rich in tea polyphenol, catechinic acid, Vitamin E and flavonoid, etc, which is beneficial to health. Xinyang maojian is aboundant in protein, amino acid, alkaloid, tea polyphenol, organic acid, vitamin A, B1, B2, K, P, PP and water-solubility mineral substance.
Brewing ways:
Take out 3-5g tea, add 85 degree boiled water, pour out the first cup of tea soup (wash tea), then add boiled water, the tea is ready, add water when the tea in cup left 1/3. Generally, the tea can be bubbled 3-4 times.

Xinyang has a tea history dated back to 2300 years ago - in 1987, at Gushi County of Xinyang, in a ancient tomb uncovered tea. In the past century, Xinyang Maojian has been considered one of the 10 best teas in China. It has a wide market and popularity in Henan province, where people like to drink it as a relaxing beverage after a busy day.In Xinyang Maojian history, The appearance of the Mao Jian tea's leaves are commonly known as "hairy tips”, a name that refers to the leaves' slightly dark-green color, straight and delicate edges, and thin and firmly rolled appearance with both ends in a pointed shape[1]. The regular length of a Xin Yang Mao Jian tealeaf is about 0.5–1 inches. It also tends to form balls, releasing a rather pungent smell when stored for a long time. It needs air, or the lack of oxygen will release an odor, to make up for the lack of oxygen. Comparing it with other famous types of green tea, Mao Jian leaves are relatively small. After brewing Mao Jiang and pouring the water into a teacup, the aroma will flow into the air and create a peaceful atmosphere.
